Summary - From the comparison above you can find out that A2 Hosting and NameHero both provide good web hosting services. But prices of both the hosts can be called as costly, especially Namehero. At the time this article was written, Namehero were offering a disount. So their normal (without sale) prices will be even higher than this. But the hosting is good from both the hosts. Both the hosts provide Litespeed webserver and NVMe SSDs with all the plans.
Namehero provides the max of RAM and CPU with their highest plan Business Cloud, which is 4 CPU Cores and 4 GB of RAM. A2 hosting goes 2 steps further and provides 4 CPU Cores and 8 GB of RAM with their highest plan which is Turbo Nitro! So you get VPS Hosting like resources at the cost of shared hosting, and without any hassles of VPS hosting. A2 hosting also provide the 4 CPU and 4 GB RAM plan for only $7.99/month. This is a point I think matters the most whe we compare these 2 hosts. Because other features offered by them are similar in quantity and quality.
A2 Hosting does not provide free domain, where as Namehero does but only with higher 2 plans and that too if you signup for 2 or more years. So nothing much to choose from here.
A2 Hosting provides any time Moneyback guarantee whereas Namehero provides a 30 day Moneyback guarantee. You can go with NameHero if you like but the renewal rates are high with NameHero. This is the biggest drawback of Namehero. Not so much the case with a2 hosting and anytime moneyback guarantee by a2 hosting allows you to signup for longer period.
